Summary of Product Features
Power Draw : 1800 watts. The Element IQ technology adjusts the power distribution to heating elements according to needs of eight preset cooking functions. That way it will deliver accurate cooking temperature at the right time. Included presets are: toast, bagel, bake, roast, broil, pizza, cookies, and reheat. Oven will also remember your personal presets for different foods that you’re preparing.
Easy to use controls include: backlit LCD screen; time/temperature control dial; dial to choose preset mode; defrost button; temperature units selection button (°F/°C); Start/Cancel button. The time/temperature control dial can be used to choose darkness/number of slices when used in Toast mode.
The cooking rack has three labeled positions, so you will always know where to put it. The top rack height position is labeled BROIL; the middle rack position is labeled TOAST, BAGEL, PIZZA, and COOKIE; and the bottom rack height position is labeled with BAKE, ROAST and REHEAT. Each label of course marks the rack position for different functions.
With this Breville BOV650XL Compact Smart Oven you will get a total of three different cooking racks: a multipurpose wire rack, a 10″ x 10″ enamel broil rack, and 10″ x 10″ enamel baking pan.
As I said before, it’s not the smallest among compact ovens, but that is not a real deficiency. What other compact oven can fit a 12 inch pizza pan inside? It measures 16.5 inches in width, 10 inches in height, and 14.25 inches in depth, so you should have no trouble finding room for it in your kitchen.
